Air A!ert

Jhatkaa.org is an independent community that leverages digital technology to help citizens take action against various issues. They wanted to launch an online campaigning platform that allows people to start, run and deliver their own campaigns on anything related to air pollution. We were asked to launch the brand complete with its own unique name, identity and microsite. The ask: A global brand interface that can stir the citizens of India to sit up, take notice and then take action.

THE LOGO

The logo aims to draw attention to the rising issue of air pollution quality in India by alerting without being alarming. The logo is a typographic unit where the letter 'l' in 'alert' is replaced with an '!' mark to add a graphic and unique touch to the identity.

THE STATS

After the launch of the platform. Air A!ert has accounted for over 40K page views, 25K signatures on Air A!ert campaigns, and 49 petitions started by citizens.
